Still with us? Still vaguely pretending you’re not thinking about Q4 planning while sitting poolside? You’re not alone. That’s exactly why Beach Reads exists. Part provocation, part escapism. Think Marketing week meets Black Mirror. Entertainment that will actually make you think, and help you return to your desk with a new perspective…

Here's 7/8... Sci-fi vignettes written as user log entries from fractured realities. Every user lives in their own digital dimension. This piece is a series of dispatches from inside those worlds - strange, contradictory, deeply personalised. Think Borges meets Brave New World with TikTok filters.

The age of one big idea is over.

Persuasion has splintered.

We now market in shards. Each polished to reflect back a version of truth the viewer already believes in.

Brands don’t speak to people anymore.

They simulate them.

We used to fight for a 30-second ad slot.

Now we fight for coherence in a thousand simultaneous versions of the brand.

Mass reach?

Outdated.

Mass relevance?

Still possible.

But only if you’re willing to fragment, translate, mutate.

And trust that across all these micro-realities, the centre still holds.

Sort of.
